Beach parasols
When shopping for beach parasols it is important to know
the difference between a parasol and a canopy. Traditionally, a parasol
is a petite, often decorative umbrella carried by women to shield them
from the sun. A canopy on the other hand is a larger, more fixed structure
like an awning.
When referring to beach parasols, you should be thinking of a more
portable beach umbrella. You can carry these with you in your car. While
they are a little bit bulky, it does not take too much effort to bring
them from the car to the beach.
Setting up beach parasols is relatively simple. Simply bury the base
of the parasol with sand to prevent it from falling over. Then, pop
up the umbrella portion to shield you from the sun.
