Beach canopies
When shopping for beach canopies it is important to understand
the difference between umbrellas, canopies, and parasols. A canopy can
be thought of as an umbrella since it shields you from the sun. However,
it is more like the overhanging of a bed because of its large size.
It is much bigger than a parasol.
You can purchase beach canopies for a weekend trip to the beach. They
sell for approximately $150-$250 and up. The more money you pay the
bigger the canopy and the more lightweight the materials.
Beach canopies are not small: a pup tent is approximately 10' x 10'.
Once you set it up at the beach, plan on leaving it there for at least
the day. It's even better if you have beachfront property and you can
leave your canopy up overnight.
